User Review Consensus on MeetGeek:
MeetGeek excels in automating meeting tasks like recording, transcription, and summarization, earning praise for its user-friendly interface and tool integration. Users love its productivity boosts, especially for remote teams and professionals. However, there’s still a learning curve, and occasional technical glitches can occur as it’s a new-ish tool. Despite this, its current features set and competitive pricing make it a valuable tool for many looking to optimize virtual meetings.
I’ve been using MeetGeek to record certain meetings in which I expect a lot of ground to be covered so I can return to certain parts of the conversation to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
I like how call conversations are organized into highlights and color-coded to make scanning for tasks, decisions, concerns, and next steps easy. The AI Summary complements the conversation highlights, structuring the call into bullet-point sections and writing concise decisions, concerns, and next steps.
I also like the Insights report, which provides a quick snapshot of how the call went on several dimensions (again, easy to scan thanks to effective color-coding.)
I see a couple of areas that have some room for improvement. Small talk is captured seriously and included in the next steps (which is good for a laugh but requires you to filter it out manually.) Also, if someone is updating you about what they’re working on, MeetGeek tends to record each one as a next step, which makes it harder to identify what new next steps are coming out the meeting.
Ultimately, MeetGeek does a great job of capturing call conversations and a very good job of summarizing and analyzing them so that fewer things discussed on calls fall between the cracks.
