Who is B2B SaaS Reviews for?

From one SaaS professional to another

The blog is intended primarily for B2B SaaS professionals looking at reviews from the point of view of the vendor. In other words, for those who are looking to grow a company through reviews.

B2B SaaS Reviews is made by a B2B SaaS professional in a go-to-market role for B2B SaaS professionals in go-to-market roles.

The site aims to help every visitor from a SaaS company get more from reviews.

How B2B SaaS Reviews came to be

In my first job in B2B SaaS, I saw firsthand the power of trusted third-party information sources for business software buyers. 👀

It was 2012, and I was an SDR at Eloqua. The best inbound leads would come from Software Advice, a third-party review site that provides software recommendations based on 1-on-1 phone consultations with buyers. The next best leads were those who downloaded Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Marketing Automation, which had Eloqua ranked as the #1 vendor in their review. I quickly learned that buyers trusted a third-party – Software Advice and Gartner, in this case – a lot more than me / the vendor (Eloqua). 💡

When I worked for Influitive, I learned that buyers trust their peers, arguably even more than analysts, and these peers help vendors generate reviews, references, and referrals.  ⭐

I’m currently the Director of Demand Generation at PartnerStack, rated the #1 platform for partner management and affiliate marketing by G2 in their Fall 2021 Grid® Reports. 🤝

Unlike many SaaS professionals, I value my post-secondary education. I learned a lot about Marketing during my time in university (Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing Management and a Master of International Business). I was fortunate enough to go on two international exchange experiences – at Copenhagen Business School and Bocconi University (Milan) –  to broaden my horizons and see how big and connected our world is today. Creating B2B SaaS Reviews is one small way to have global reach with B2B SaaS professionals interested in reviews. 🌎
