Pros and Cons

In my experience with Canva, here are the pros and cons:

Pros:

  • The best design tool for amateurs based on ease of use and
  • Plenty of well-designed templates and elements
  • Canva Pro features are excellent, like the Background remover, Brand kit, and Magic resize tool

Cons

  • Organizing and finding files, projects, and templates I find to be less intuitive and harder than it should be
  • Filters and tags on elements could be improved (e.g. size and design-edtiable elements; some are, some aren’t, and you don’t know until you pick one and try to edit it.)
  • The Pro features are so good that I suspect it’d be hard to stay on the free plan if you’re making use of the tool

Price

Canva offers both free and paid pricing packages.

  • Canva Free: The free version of Canva provides access to a wide range of design tools and templates, but it may have limitations on features and resources.
  • Canva Pro: This package costs $18.99 CAD per month when billed monthly. Canva Pro provides additional features such as unlimited storage, access to premium images and templates, the ability to resize designs, and collaboration tools.
  • Canva For Team: This package is designed for larger teams and organizations for $37.99 CAD per month when billed annually. It offers advanced features like brand control, team functionalities, and dedicated support.
